Body Shop

One day in Body Shop...

So in Hereford whilst shopping happily my companion wanted to go into the Body Shop - I wasn't a huge fan as in New Zealand it's quite expensive but followed her in all the same - however I was pleasantly surprised and ended up buying a facial regimen for myself and because I spent more than 18 quid I got a free Full size body butter!  Woop Woop.
Seaweed sounds gross - but it smells really nice!
This skin system is for people with oily skin but don't get blemishes - clarifying they call it.  I've only been using it a month now and I can't see a HUGE difference - but my skin feels nice and soft when I wake up.
Pink Grapefruit Body Butter Smells Amazing

I don't usually go in for body butter - a bit greasy - but sh*t was free!  Not going to say no.
I'm a real sucker for cute packaging (and Pink) I'll give the seaweed a go.

What are your beauty routinesAre there any products that work amazingly/badly for you?
I for one love Garnier's BB cream in medium - but I know not everyone's a fan

  2. Who doesn't love Garnier's BB cream? That stuff is really good. I've been using it for months now, on my notoriously-prone-to-spots skin, and my complexion has really improved!

Although actually, this past couple of weeks it's been bad again. Not sure if it's all the suuugar I've been eating, or the dehydrating winter cold snap, or maybe (just had a thought last night) because I've been using a new body lotion and putting my face moisturiser on straight after w/out washing my hands (maybe getting a bit of a mix on there!).

Argh, poxy face... it's like trying to detect a food allergy by elimination :-/

    1. Omigod - why can't life just be easy!!? Our skin does get used to products - so it could be that... or the sugar... or the mixture of weird body lotion gettin it on. What ever it is always abide by the ANCIENT RULE: we are what we eat - I eat a buttload of choccy so my skin is pizza...
Thanks for stopping by Siss - I can't WAIT for Edinburgh - we gonna shut shit DOWN.

  3. Gorgeous post. Love the color of your shoes.

If you get a sec, check out my latest post 'One Shoulder Wonder'. A very pretty LBD dress that I found last weekend. I would love to hear what you think about it.

    Have a great weekend!

    1. Hmm I wonder if they might have replaced it with a Mango body Butter - that seems to be the product they're pushing lately. The body butters are good, they absorb quickly and aren't greasy :-)

  19. body shop body butter smells really good. I bought a couple of times their pocket size anti blemish solution with tea tree oil and it works well (but now I make it at home).

    1. You make your own body butter at home? That is so cool! But I suppose if you make it at home you know exactly whats in it and leave out the nasties - like parabins and weird stuff your skin neither needs nor wants ;-)
