If the Internet was my closet - so-bad-they're-good-shoes - Dolce&Gabbana, Miu Miu, Simone Rocha

SANAYI 313
I was perusing the Matches fashion sale (as you do) and I couldn't help but notice the trend for super ugly but strangely compelling footwear...
Mongolian sherling covered vamp anyone?
BROTHER VELLIES
Look at these glittery - Miu Miu - BEAUTIES
Well these look comfortable at least...
SIMONE ROCHA
These I actually want pretty bad.... DOLCE & GABBANA

And my own contribution to the so-ugly-they're-awesome shoe trend
My ASOS silver pointy heels with pastel pink pom poms :-)

This post wasn't sponsored by matches, I just happened to be scrolling through their sale and had to share with you! I think I'll save my money.

What about you guys? Anything grab your fancy?

Throwback Thursday - Floral Afternoon tea at One Aldwych in Covent Garden London

Don't mind if I do... High tea at One Aldwych

The whole tea had a floral theme for the UK spring...

Our table setting

Salmon on lavender brioche

Scones with preserves and clotted cream

The Menu:

Bottom:
Chicken and Wild Garlic Flower Mayo.
Jasmine smoked salmon.
Egg mayo and Watercress
and a goats curd and chive quiche.

Middle:
Vanilla Panacotta with violet leaves
Rosewater Jelly
Lemon Drizzle Cake
Lavendar Brioche served with gorse flower
 compote.

Homemade scones served with plum, elderflower
jams and clotted cream.

What do you think of floral themed afternoon tea? My stomach said YESSS.
I love looking back at all my old travel snaps (especially FOOD)

Have a great day everyone!

Travel - Wellington Jazz Festival 2017 - Interior Decor, Street art, Fooood... taxidermy?

Flight in - Flight Out.
Wellington is hilly!

First Day we walked around the Waterfront
Oriental Parade, passed the boat sheds.

Had some delicious Spicy Popcorn Chicken from Kangsta
Korean Street food Vendor in Capital Market

Caught a ridiculously funky experimental Jazz band - Love Love - at Caroline

Caroline's Interior Decoration was different...

Sunset - No filter!

On the last day we went to the Market along the harbour.
  • There was this cute marionette lady painting a young girls portrait - so talented!
  • I bought some lolly cake (kiwi classic) and we had a coffee at the Mac's Bar - I love the upside down lampshades they use as lighting fixtures.

We had a fantastic action-packed 4 nights in our nations capital!

Let us end on some street art!
