Mondayitis - Harolds AMAZING 22nd floor Appartment in the Stamford Residences Auckland City

Eurgh, how is it MONDAY again?

So... we were in town for Auckland Anniversary Weekend for Laneway Festival.
Hence the lovely Fireworks!!!
We were invited to take in the view from an acquaintances new apartment in the Stamford Hotel Residences - Spoiler Alert: IT WAS AWESOME!!!!
I was intrigued to see what a permanent hotel residence looked like (pretty much just an inner-city apartment) it was bigger than my HOUSE - so pretty nice ;-)

The Bathrooms (3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, one large office) were ALL MARBLE.
As you step out of the elevator - View of the Auckland Harbor Bridge
Almost a 240 degree view! Insane wall of windows
View of Devonport's North Shore and BEYOND
Seriously - this is taken out the window of his Home!

I've done him a painting for him to hang up in his new place!

Hope you guys are exploring and discovering new things

St Geromes Laneway Music Festival 2015 in sunny Auckland

Nice day for it #summer
Casual Friday - Laneway Festival 2015

So, St Geromes Laneway Festival is a small festival of under-the-radar bands across 4 stages in Aucklands Wynyard Quarter.

The Main Stages at Sunset - Was SUCH a beautiful day - but tooooo hot

Highlights from the day include:

Connan Mockasin
He played Glastonbury last year.
Courtney Barnett

Charming Aussie with hilarious video clips.
Future Island's were surprisingly super groovy.
A Chilli Cheese burger...
Inside the Old Silo's there was a playroom of sorts - including arcade games...
(Laneway is situated around the harbor so there's old silo's and shipping paraphernalia scattered around the venue)
And a room of balloons!!

They also have gourmet food from some of Aucklands best Eateries...
I had the most AMAZING chilli cheese burger:
a cheeseburger, with the addition of melt in the mouth chilli!
The Foodtruck was there... but no Michael.

Former Acts Include: Haim, SBTRKT, Savages, Lorde, Gotye, the Presets, FEIST!, Tame Impala!!! The XX, Warpaint, Florence and The Machine!!!
I wore my pop art flats - comfy shoes are a MUST at a festival

Can't wait for next year!!!
