Casual Friday: Eating Out - Mexican at Flying Burrito Brothers. Stuffed Jalapenos, Chilli con Queso, Spicy Rice & Fried Chicken!

Do you guys like Mexican Food?

Silly Question. EVERYONE likes Mexican Food

We headed out for some gudz fudz Sunday night. There's a few Mexican Restaurants in my town, Tauranga but I thought I would go with the $5 frozen Margaritas!
I'd been to Flying Burrito Brothers before and it was amazing!

BOOM - Case in point

Left: Stuffed then deep fried - Jalapenos
Middle: Chilli con Queso Cheese dip with homemade Cornchips
Right: Mexican Fried Chicken!
Everything was beyond delicious, could have done with a bit more spicy kick!

Bucket of Sol Beer - cause you gotta.

Me taking a quick selfie - was trying to get my necklace in shot with my lippy
Mac Mineralize: Lady at Play
The necklace has fruit charms - Apple, cherry and Watermelon.
And my Frozen Margarita slushy #yum

Happy Foodie Friday...

Closet/Wardrobe Organizing Part 4 - Shoedrobe, Pinterest inspired organization

 I call this "The Gallery"
It holds my favourite shoes (right) and Original Shoe-fiend Heels (Left)

With a Bed Tray full of some pretty things. How cool is that star clutch?
My phone's too big to fit in it! #Sob

And the piece de resistance:
The Shoe Cabinet!
Once upon a time all my shoes fitted in here nicely with other items like frames and jewelry... now it's just shoes.

Look at all the Animal Print. Wuzzahp!?
Next Week - Rest of the Bedroom = ORGANIZED

Shoesday Tuesday = SHOESDAY. Paula is officially off-loading.

A girl really can have too many shoes...

Just mailed these puppies away today

In addition to re-organizing my Wardrobe/closet I am selling some SHOES
I love the look of these sandals... but never wore them :-/

You may be asking "WHY PAULA?"
Why would I want to sell any of my collection?
To answer that simply: Causes I don't wear them!
These ones just closed yesterday. Only wore them out ONCE
These blush sandals were my first feedback ever - nailed it

Tried to offload these girls twice - think I may want too much for them
but I'm not willing to sell them too cheap!!

I'm loving these little ladies fro ASOS... Might have to replenish the stock I've lost.
Those are Koosh balls on the front!

Happy Shoesday All!

Special Delivery Monday - Cute Diary From Kikki.K - A little Stationary to cure your Mondayitis

Brand spanking new Cute Diary From +kikki.K

As much as I plan with my Google calendar and on my laptop,
I feel like I still need to have things physically written down and planned out
so I bought this diary (it's MARCH Paula) so I could map out blog posts and stay on top of my food and exercise and work hours.

This A7 size diary has the cutest little pictures in the margins

At the start of every month it has a little journal prompt.
This one is a summer, beach themed page. The whale is saying "I wish..."

As you can see I am getting quite the collection of cute little Kikki.K products.
I buy their diaries every year but if I'm ever going past their boutiques I cannot resist going in and picking up something small and random. Like Polar Bear Post-its or note-books.
I am constantly messing with recipes so one of the notebooks is dedicated
to how I changed the recipe and how it turned out.

How cute are these stickers?

My city has crap shopping so I am buying what I want online more and more.

♥  ♥
Do you guys have a secret penchant for stationary?

I'm off to plot taking over the world in my new DIARY!

Sunday Baking - Sunday Brunch Edition: Super moist, bananarey, pancakey goodness. AKA - Banana Pancakes

It's Sunday Everyone.

And that can only mean ONE THING:

BRUNCH...
and pancakes!

These are slightly different in that they have mashed banana through them so they're super moist and yummy. I always need recipes to use up spotty bananas! You buy them and you don't always end up eating them.
I got this puppy from Allrecipes.com and just changed and tweaked a few of the ingredients to make them super yummo.

Ingredients:

Sift Together: 1/2cup White flour
1/2cup Wholemeal Flour
1T Sugar
2 t Baking powder
1/4t salt
1t Cinamon

Mix together:

1 cup milk
1 beaten egg
2 bananas mashed
2 tablespoons melted butter

Pour the wet ingredients onto the sifted dry ingredients and stir until just combined (will still have a few lumps, that's good)

Pour or spoon the mixture into a buttered pre-heated saute pan and fry gently until bubbles form on the surface and start to pop.

And et voila! You are now ready for brunch!

These pancakes are so tasty they don't really need any accompaniments.
But you could have bacon and maple syrup.
Or have some lemon zest through the pancakes instead of cinnamon.

This is the view out my window this morning
The Waikareo Estuary and surrounding wetlands.

I love autumn/fall!!

Happy Sunday everyone!
