Sunday Instagram catch-up: BANANAS/ Charity Bakes-sale cupcakes/ Boots boots boots, stupid winter/ Historic Village Market - new leather jacket - hit 1000kms on the new car/ New Painting.

Hi everyone!
I haven't blogged for a week because I am lazy! I've just fired up the laptop now to return all the lovely comments left behind on my last instagram catch-up! So here's last week...

1. Bananas growing in Tauranga, New Zealand. New Zealanders eat the most bananas by head of capita than anywhere in the world - 14 kilos each person every year!
2. Made 43 cupcakes for a charity bake sale at work - made $172! Which is nothing to sneeze at.
3. Sick of wearing boots to keep the toes warm - when will it be SUMMER!?
4. On Sunday we went to the Historic Village Market to pick up fruit and veges... I ended up thrifting an Italian leather jacket and buying a laundry hamper... was fun though - we also hit 1000 kilometers on our new car!
5. Started a new painting...

and now it's finished.

How was your week everyone?
Did you achieve all your goals or were you a slack bum like me?

Happy Instagramming all

6. Staring cows in Waitetuna (my sister has a farm in the Waikato)
7. Street art outside the local cafe - Little rat soldier.
8. Pictures of the frost - was a beautiful day, but cold!

Sunday Instagram catch-up - Auckland, rugby, sunsets, macaron ice cream sandwich! Visiting Hamilton, Foodstagramming, Cute Animals, farm life.

A couple weekends ago we were up in Auckland for the Second Lions test - it's a rugby match between the British & Irish Lions and our New Zealand National team The Allblacks - I'm not that into rugby but my partner is Welsh so he's OBSESSED. In any case I was along for the ride...

1. Upside down standing lamps become lighting in the Northern Steamship pub on Quay.
2. Louis Vuitton - masters collection. I'm not a fan, but found the display compelling
3. Sunsets over Queens Wharf, it had been a rainy day.
4. Macaron ice cream sandwich from NZ Natural - WAS AMAZING, I could go one now.
5. Temporary Ice skating rink in Aotea Square - There was a spectacular pile up 3 seconds after this snap.

Choc dipped marshmallow shortbread - easiest recipe, I'll post soon, watch this space.

My hat collection all organized tidy like - might remember to wear them now!

Norman fluff ball - our cat. We don't know where Norman comes from, he just showed up one day and never really left.

♥ ♥ ♥

And then I was off to Hamilton for a belated birthday dinner for dad.

1. Long black with my Zara purse in shot. Pork belly and Prawn entree :-9
2. Missy the Maremma Dog, this photo doesn't show you how MASSIVE she is - like St. Bernard territory. She has the sweetest nature though. Maremma's are guardian dogs.
3. "Holly" - she was born at Christmas time - the cow - she thinks she's a guard dog.

Sunday Instagram Catch-up - Cats, Shoes, Cats, Baking, Cats... Scenery

This is a beer coaster we picked up in our UK travels from Melton Mowbrey
Pub called Anne of Cleaves with some of the building dated back to 1327..
Anne, Henry VIII wife, was gifted the property in the divorce.

There's a hole in the coaster you stick your bent finger into to make a bum!

Bought this little beauty from Spongedrop Cakery on Salisbury St, Mt Maunganui
She's a Lemon Cheescake Cupcake. SO. AMAZEBALLS.

Took this picture of the Mount after purchasing my cupcake
The water is so blue! Doesn't feel like Autumn.

Had a new ceiling fan installed - Norman the Cat is a little unsure of it
Read: he HATES it.

New knobs on the desk in my painting room
They're faux crystal darhling.

Let us end the adventure on this ridiculously foodgasmey
Blueberry and Raspberry Scone

Seriously Gudz Fudz

Happy Easter all.

Instagram Catch up Sunday - Catstagram, foodporn, Shoes shoes SHOES

This picture - I just can't... stop... laughing. HIS FACE!
Old Norman, we sort of adopted him, he showed up one day and didn't ever go "home"

Went shopping and popped into the pet shop and HAD to take a picture.
I feel sorry for petshop kittens, so happy together and they're going to be separated #sook

I'm Selling some shoes on Trade.me (NZ's own EBAY)
So sad to see these girls go!

ANOTHER CAT PAULA!!?
Went down to the beach and made a friend. I call him Mocha
Because I was drinking a mocha AND he's brown.
Not a stray kitteh though, just a friendly local.

Finished my "Pawn. Buy. Sell" Hammy this week.
He goes with another Hammy outside a posh bakery window.

This was a #throwbackthursday to an older Hammy I did last year.
He's a biggie - 18x24 inches

This is the final reveal of my Cityscape of Auckland City, New Zealand
From Harold's 22nd Floor Stamford Hotel Residences
