I have a Nail art board on Pinterest that I constantly reference for some "Nailspiration" (not a real word) and whilst perusing I came up with this design...
If you guys are feeling Creative keep reading for the tutorial of how do DIY your own version.
Silver Nail polish
Neon Green nail polish
Silver Loose Glitter
Clear Nail varnish
Either - one white striper polish OR I use these Gel ink pens... you have more control and once you've sealed with clear polish they stay on just the same as varnish.
Step One: Paint your pinky, middle and index fingers silver. While the silver is still wet, sprinkle some loose glitter onto your index finger. <<
Step two: Paint your ring finger and thumb neon green.
Step three: Wait for it all to dry nicely and maybe do another coat of any of the fingers if the first coat is a bit thin.
By now it should look as below...
Step Five: Draw a lattice pattern onto your ring finger.
Step Six: Draw small hearts or a similar cute pattern onto you thumb nail.
Wait for all varnish to dry before painting on a final top coat on all fingers (even the glitter)
You can do a few coats of clear polish - all the more protection for your design. I also find that clear polish with glitter is good as a final top coat as it seems to make the design last even longer, like pebble dashing a house?
If all goes according to plan your design should look a little like this... just take your time (don't attempt this 5 minutes before leaving the house) and I try to use fast drying nail polishes - they're usually a little thinner but I am notoriously impatient and can't wait for sh*t to dry...
Do you guys dabble in nail art?
I've only just started getting a little fancier (maybe because I'm not elbow deep in cake bater and icing at the moment #baker) but I find just going slowly and letting each step dry is helpful if you want a long wearing design.
